Army’s Army crosses 500-member mark

Every since the first induction ceremony took place on May 26, 2008, the number of Army’s Army volunteers has been steadily increasing. Recent large recruitment events have given membership numbers a boost. The Fourth of July celebration in Hope Mills and the Cross Creek Mall Tax Free Weekend are two events that helped us reach the 500-member mark.

We owe a huge thanks to those volunteers who donated their time to help educate others about the Army’s Army. These members have graciously helped handle recruitment services, proudly wore their red Army’s Army shirts and spread the word to others about how Cumberland County residents can help make the military and their families feel welcome, safe and secure.

We want to continue expanding the Army’s Army membership, and will continue to need your help in order to do so. Keep an eye out for volunteer opportunities or contact me at: [email protected] to learn more about how you can get more involved.
