Fort Bragg and the Communities of Cumberland County created HEROES HOMECOMING as a way of showing all veterans that we remember and appreciate their courage, their sacrifice and everything they’ve done to defend our freedom – now and forever. We have a unique bond with veterans, as our town was the point of departure and return for hundreds of thousands of soldiers.

Taking place last year over Veterans Day weekend, Heroes Homecoming III featured 4 full days of events, exhibits, recognition ceremonies and entertainment designed to honor and pay tribute to the 5.7 million soldiers that participated in the Korean War. The third annual celebration also featured celebrity guests and special appearances by stars of the hit TV series MASH.
