Army’s Army Continues to Grow

New Social Networking Site FayettevilleWantsYou.com Connects Relocating Soldiers to Army’s Army Volunteers
Citizens serve as mentors to military families offering personalized support and guidance
The Army’s Army, a community of Cumberland County volunteers, is standing behind its pledge to support the military and is investing countless hours communicating with soldiers helping to bring to life everything the area has to offer.  Intended as the next best thing to physically being in America’s First Military Sanctuary Community, newly-launched social networking site FayettevilleWantsYou.com (FWY) is aimed at making relocation easier on soldiers and their families by linking potential movers with actual residents who serve as volunteers with the Army’s Army, the 1,000+ member organization that provides support and assistance to the troops through various programs and events, to help make their transition a smooth one.  With BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) fast approaching, the tens of thousands of soldiers being relocated to Fort Bragg will need decision-making assistance, from locating a church to join and selecting the best neighborhood to family friendly activities that will occupy their spare time and everything in between.
