For a US soldier fighting overseas, receiving a heart-felt note of appreciation from someone overseas can send their spirits soaring. Not to mention CDs and toys.

That’s why CBL & Associates Properties, the Army’s Army, Coca-Cola, and others are excited to bring you “Operation Heartfelt Salute.”

This show of support for our beloved military runs Saturday, February 12th through Saturday, March 12th. It involves three separate campaigns:
1.Letters to our Troops
Cross Creek shoppers can write a note of appreciation and kids can create a Valentine for the men and women serving in the military. These postcards will be sent in care packages to our deployed soldiers.

2. Care Packages for our Troops
We will be accepting items that will go into care packages and be sent to the troops.

3. Tunes 4 the Troops
We will be collecting new and/or used CD’s and DVD’s for our troops.

4. Operation Heartfelt Salute Bracelets
We will also be selling “Operation Heartfelt Salute” red, white and blue bracelets for $1.00. These bracelets can be purchased at the mall, and 100% of the proceeds from the sales of these bracelets will go towards supporting the military and their families.

The Army’s Army is looking for volunteers to help out at its booth with collecting items going into the care packages, selling bracelets, collecting CD’s, DVD’s, and recruiting new members. There are several dates and times to volunteer so please help in any way you can.
