In 2011, Fayetteville/Cumberland County hosted the first ever Heroes Homecoming to honor all of our brave Vietnam veterans. This year, American’s First Military Sanctuary Community will pay tribute to the 1.5 million servicemen and women who participated in the Iraq War through a series of celebrations, discussions and fellowship.
Hosted by the Army’s Army and the Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, Heroes Homecoming II will give our brave Iraq War veterans the welcome home they so richly deserve.
Heroes Homecoming II will take place November 9-11, culminating on Veterans Day 2012.
